Never Say Goodbye
Chapter 6&7


Trunks appered at the house. Bra and Pan were already there to greet him. It was Bra who told him weather or not she had known. " He isnt coming home..tonite is he..Trunks-kun.." Her brother shook his head. " Bebi killed him..before i could..help...It was a trap..set up by Gero..i bet.." Pan was at her husbands side to comfrot him. Bra couldnt help but envy her best friend and brother. Gokuu was busily playing in Bra`s hair. He had found it most amsuing. Trunks looked down to his wife and child. They were both safe and alive. Something Goten and he had been fighting for all this time. It seemed so wrong to feel breif joy in this moment of saddness.


~Gero`s Lab~

" U worthless machine..Why do I bother helping you live again? THe machine was nearly have destioed. " You underestimated the power of those saiyans!!" The machine was alive and formed the face of Bebi. " But i killed one..of them..isnt that enough till i run again?" Dr. Gero chuckled to himself. " I cannot fix you...Bebi.." The half made robot lunged upward and barely missed Gero. " Bebi..stop..and think..I have made u more self serficent then this..Remeber your programing ..?" Bebi growled knowing he would never be whole agin.. " Shut up..old man..i dont need ..." Dr. Gero laughed and walked over to another bed. He motioned Bebi to move over. " Come i give u a gift..Bebi...Since you have become a perfect creation.." Bebi half molded what he had left into legs and moved over to his creator. Dr. Gero pulled back the sheets. It reveiled the body of a half saiyan male. His chest had been blown away but his body was mostly there. Bebi smiled already knowing what to do. His body melted to a liquid type state and he covered the boy`s body..making them both whole.

Dr. Gero stepped back watching his new creation once again smile with power. Bebi raised his new hand and clutched it closed. " Ahh He has such..power...still in him.." Gero chuckled and could only think of the grand future that would soon be his.


Trunks was helping Pan with the kids and dishes when he felt it. His eyes snapped upward and he could see his sister out by the lake. She had sent the time after he had arrived home there. Pan turned to see what he was doing. " Nani..Trunks.." Trunks waved his hand to Pan. " It`s..just Bra..I worry..about her.." Pan pulled her arms around him. A low sigh escaped her lips. " I know..me too..I feel so blessed but then..I feel so hurt. Do you think Bebi is really dead this time Trunks?" Her husband smiled and planted a kiss on her forehead. " Hai..Pan-chan..i killed him myself.."


Chapter 7

It had been several long days since Goten`s death. Everyone had thier own way of greiving the loss. Pan had taken over for the household wife. She felt the many chores of house work might help her forget her uncle. Trunks had decided to spend time with both the boys. He could see his best frined still alive in Gokuu. His mind could forget the pain of this world when he was with the children.

It was the way Bra grieved that worried the others. She had gone off alone at night. Pan nor Trunks knew the reasons for her nightly walks alone. A hard way to see someone with so much life..walk like a living corpse. It was like someone had killed her as well...from the inside. Trunks and Pan both felt Bra was a ticking time bomb..that may not have much left of a fuse.

~ Gero`s lab~

His preformance was more precise then ever before. He hadnt felt such power since he had over taken Vegeta`s body. Bebi liked the saiyan enhanced strength combined with is own. How ironic the boy he killed could be so usuful. " I want to face the saiyans now old man!!" Dr. Gero shook his head with a slight smile. " In time..I must be sure your new form is fit for combat.." Bebi made a face and let his egerness to fight get the best of him. " I am ready now!!" It pleased Gero to see such life in his masterful creation. " Ahh soon enough we will all have our revenge..." Bebi growled it wasnt soon enough for him. He wanted to repay Trunks for the scars he had left him. " Vengence will be mine...saiyan..boy..."

~ back at Ccorp ~
Pan had cleared the table and Trunks had returned from the boy`s bath and bedtime. " She`s already gone..Trunks.." Pan knew her husband was feeling enough guilt for Goten`s death. He now felt some guilt for Bra as well. There had to be a way to help her...before it was too late. " Hai..she leaves earlier now.." Pan set the last plate away and came beside her husband. They held eachother in a light embrace. " If only I had known..I could have helped him...." Pan blinked and moved her face to eye his. " Trunks..dont beat urself up too. We can do nothing but hope she can find her way out of this pain. It isnt easy to lose a mate..espicially when ur saiyan..remember ur father when Bulma died?" Trunks tightend his stance with pain. He remembered his father becoming to weak to even fight. There was nothing to be done but let him die..and have peace. " I dont want Bra to die..Pan.." He lowered his tear stained face along her shoulder. Her motherly instinct cradled him in her arms as he sobbed.

Bra was again eyeing herself in the lake. It was so hard to keep breathing with all the pain in her heart. Why had he left her so suddenly? Could there be a life after his death? She couldnt tell what was real and what was her own twisted illusion. " Goten-kun..how dare you leave me alone like this...Every day Gokuu awakens calling for you..." Tears fell for her son`s loss. " I feel so helpless against the monster in my soul. Perhaps this is the way Papsan felt...when mother died. I know Pan and Trunks care for me and worry over me..but what can i do to help? You ment everything to me..How DARE you leave me..you COWARD!!!" Her ki erupted and she became as golden as a supersaiyan. Anger and rage forseen in her eyes. " You left me to die in this place we had once called home..You broke every promise to me you made..How can i love you..feel anything at all for you?" Rocks broke apart around her and she eyed his tomb stone. Would tears till fall for him?

~Dr Gero`s lab~

He could feel the ki trace in his sleep. Bebi smiled wickedly and pulled himself free of his pluggs and chains. Gero was a fool to think he would stay here. Setting his feet to the ground it wasnt long before he hoverd out of the lab. He had a score to settle with the purple haired Saiyan. This time he wouldnt let his gaurd down..this time he`d kill them all...

Trunks swore and Pan tunred her face as well. " What the hell is she doing?" He moved and instanlty was after his sister. Pan went to follow but the children were asleep. " Trunks..be careful!!"
