Tragic Love in a Mix of time

There was nothing left for them in the future; the androids had destroyed everyone and the planet along with them. No matter how hard they'd fought they would not have changed the planet's destiny, even though they had fought and won with honor, they had also lost at the same time, by the time they had won it was far too late. There were only two survivors; Trunks and Pan. They were sitting together on a large stone next to a lake. The night was dark but clear, the moon was bright and graceful and the water was crystal clear.

They stared deeply into each others eyes, each had the same expressionless face, the solemn eyes, and the pain that struck their hearts. Life was no longer worth living, what was there to live for; their families and friends had been demolished and their home planet destroyed.

"Trunks I love you and always will, I will never forget you…ever..." Pan whispered while tears that were just like diamonds flowed down her cheek.

Trunks knew what that had meant; she wanted him to seal her death. He knew she would suffer more if she stayed alive, but he couldn't bring himself to do that.

"Pan, I can't do it, I know it's hard but we have to pull through…I know…trust me…" Trunks said with sympathy.

"Don't you see, Trunks? There is nothing more for us. If you won't kill me will…" Pan cried out in pain, not in physical pain but in pain to see her home planet in this shape.

"I love you more than anything, please…" His voice was sore from crying, silent tears flowed down his face.

"Look at this place!!! Earth is gone, we've lost. You have to understand that. Our mothers, fathers and our friends understand this, because it's true!!!!!!!!" Pan hollered in rage.

"Pan…I know it's true, but we have no power to change the path of this planet." Trunks cried out. He wanted nothing more than death, but he couldn't take Pan along with him.

"Trunks, remember or first date? We made a promise that we would die together and live together." She whispered hoarsely.

"I remember it was just like this night…" Trunks replied.

"We have no future Trunks, it was meant to be…" Pan whispered so quietly you could barely hear her.

Trunks was shocked by her statement, before she was joyful when others were depressed she brought them joy and somehow she seemed to calm their souls. Suddenly he knew what he had to do. They stared into each others eyes. Trunks was angry that there was no way out of this mess except death. They took a look at the lake and jumped. They wanted air, but there was a burning desire that kept them in the water, they looked at each other for the last time and passed on.

They rose above Snake Way and headed to The Grand Kai's planet. When they got there they greeted their family and friends. At night they went to a lake with water crystal clear, a moon bright and graceful, and the night clear and beautiful. They stared each other in the eyes and kissed a kiss they would never forget.
